Faculty and Alumna Publish Article on Integrating Science and Poetry

Poetry RocksThree faculty and one alumna co-authored an article published in Science and Children, a peer-reviewed journal of the National Science Teachers Association. The article, “Poetry Rocks,” describes a project where first graders write poetry about rocks and earth materials. The authors are alumna Melissa Faetz, teacher at South Macon Elementary, and faculty members Patricia Bricker, Kelly Tracy, and Nancy Luke.
