Kelly Kelley Recognized for National Leadership


KelleyDr. Kelly Kelley, Associate Professor of Inclusive and Special Education in WCU’s School of Teaching and Learning and co-director of the University’s University Participant Program, is the recipient of the Leadership in Higher Education Award at the 2017  State of the Art in Postsecondary Education Conference. The award recognizes Kelley’s national leadership in the area of postsecondary education for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It was presented at the conference held in Syracuse, New York, on Nov. 15, with the suggestion that Kelley’s “unyielding emphasis on experience as a pathway to knowledge and inclusion” should be celebrated.
