The Collegiate Middle Level Association will hold a breakfast meeting on Thursday, Nov. 20 at 8:45-9:30 am in Killian 102. Middle grades majors who attended the national conference in Nashville sill share what they learned. Also, the group will plan events for the coming semester.
The CEAP News newsletter for Fall 2014 has been released, including articles about the UP program, WHEE Teach, the Rural-Urban Exchange, the Killian Society, and more.
The Student Council for Exceptional Children at WCU are holding a bake sale Tuesday, October 21 from 8 am to 5 pm at one of the ground floor entrances to Killian. The group is raising funds to attend a conference on teaching exceptional children.
The Psychology Club will hold a panel about graduate programs in psychology at 6 pm in Killian 102. Students who are considering graduate school are encouraged to attend and ask questions. Refreshments will be provided.
SNCAE will hold an information session to give an overview of the new edTPA Portfolio for all teacher education students on Thursday, October 2nd, 5 pm in Killian 102. All faculty, staff, and students in teacher education programs are encouraged to attend and ask questions.
The Collegiate Middle Level Association will hold a Scholastic Book Fair Sept. 24-30, 3-6 pm every weekday, 12-5 pm on Saturday. It will be in the Curriculum Materials Center in Hunter Library. Proceeds will support CMLA student dues and travel to conferences.
